Welcome to Àirigh goats

Àirigh Goat Herd is a mixed herd of dairy and cashmere type goats. Unlike most commercial goat dairies, they have free access to pastures and love to browse shrubs and trees. We are a kid-at-foot dairy, meaning none of the goat kids are separated from their mothers and we share the milk. 

After experimenting making cheeses for a few years I finally took the plunge in 2023 and set up a cheese kitchen to be able to sell to the public. Now I make small batches of goat cheese seasonally from May - November.

Two types of cheese are currently available; a soft fresh goat cheese and a young lactic geo-ripened cheese.

Cheeses will be available at the markets and open food network events listed below. I sometimes have cheese available outside these events. Send me an email for more information.
